포위전에서 적진 여섯 곳을 함락하는 것을 도우며 중상을 입고도 교체되기를 거부하고 끝까지 싸우겠다고 고집한 명마에 관한 자타카로, 일곱 번째 진지 함락까지 도운 뒤 숨을 거두어 영웅에 걸맞은 화장을 받았다는 이야기이다.

A Jātaka about a thoroughbred warhorse who, though grievously wounded while helping capture six enemy camps during a siege, insists on fighting to the end rather than being replaced, going on to help seize the seventh camp before dying and receiving a hero’s cremation.
