ආසීවිස සූත්‍රයට සමාන විය හැකි දේශනාවකි. කස්මීර හා ගාන්ධාර ජනතාව බුද්ධාගමට හරවා ගැනීම සඳහා මජ්ඣන්තික ස්ථවිරයන් විසින් දේශනා කරන ලද බවත්, පසුව මහින්ද හිමියන් විසින් ලංකාවේ අනුරාධපුරයේ දහස් ගණන් ජනතාව හරවා ගැනීම සඳහා දේශනා කරන ලද බවත් සඳහන් වේ.

A discourse likely identical with the Āsīvisa Sutta, said to have been taught by Majjhantika Thera to convert the people of Kasmīra and Gandhāra, and later by Mahinda to convert thousands in Anurādhapura, Sri Lanka.
