කාන්තාවන් නොවිශ්වාසදායක බව පිළිබඳ, ගණිකාවකට දිනපතා තෑගි දුන් තරුණ වෙළෙන්දෙකු, ඔහු මුදල් නොමැතිව පැමිණි එකම දින, හිස් අත්වලින් පලවා හරින ලද, ඒ නිසා පිළිකුල් වී තපස්විනියෙකු බවට පත් වූ ආකාරය කියන, කාන්තාවක් නිසා සංඝයාගෙන් ඉවත් වීමට තැත් කරන භික්ෂුවකට සමානකම් දක්වන ජාතක කථාවකි.

A Jātaka on the untrustworthiness of women, telling how a young merchant, having lavished daily gifts on a courtesan, was turned away empty-handed on the one day he came without money, and in disgust became an ascetic, told in reference to a monk tempted to leave the Order because of a woman.
