Person韋陀（Veṭṭha）統治家族出身的一位長老，繼承父業後聞佛說法而歸信出家，留有《長老偈》中回應前來哭求他還俗的親眷的偈頌。
An elder born into a ruling family of Veṭṭha who, after inheriting his father’s estate, was converted upon hearing the Buddha teach and left verses in the Theragāthā addressed to grieving kinsmen who came begging him to return.
