A Nāga princess, daughter of the Nāga king Dhataraṭṭha and half-sister of the Bodhisatta Bhūridatta, who could breathe flame and spit venom and helped rescue her brother from the snake-charmer Ālambāna; in a later life she was the nun Uppalavaṇṇā.
