බුදුන් වහන්සේට බියගන්වා පලවා හැරීමට උත්සාහ කර අසමත් වූ, පසුව උන් වහන්සේගේ ශිෂ්‍යයෙකු වූ, පසුව පාවා හිදී ඔහුට පූජා පවත්වන ලද දේවාලයකින් ගෞරව කරන ලද යක්ෂයෙකි.

A yakkha who tried unsuccessfully to frighten and drive away the Buddha before becoming his disciple, later honoured with a shrine at Pāvā where sacrifices were offered to him.
