Akkosaka-Bhāradvāja
PersonA brahmin of Rājagaha who, enraged at his elder brother’s conversion, visited the Buddha to insult him but was himself converted and later attained Arahantship, earning the epithet Akkosaka (‘the abuser’) for having composed a 500-verse lampoon against the Buddha.
