Amba Jātaka
Jātaka一則本生故事:一位苦行者在大旱中以中空樹幹為槽為動物供水,感恩的動物為他採來果實,此故事用以讚歎一位勤勉盡責的比丘。
A Jātaka in which a hermit provides water for animals during a severe drought using a hollowed tree trunk, and is rewarded with fruit gathered by the grateful animals, told in praise of a diligent and wholehearted monk.

A Jātaka in which a brahmin youth who learned a magic charm for growing mangoes out of season loses his power after lying about his teacher’s identity, told in reference to Devadatta’s repudiation of the Buddha.
