师子颊王（Sīhahanu）之子，净饭王之弟，摩诃男与阿那律之父，部分记载亦称阿难为其子。

A son of Sīhahanu and brother of Suddhodana, father of Mahānāma and Anuruddha and, in some accounts, also of Ānanda.
