An elder residing at the Koṭipabbata monastery in Sri Lanka who, possessing the divine eye, marvelled at seeing that a woman had once been reborn as a pig, and whose exclamation led her to learn her own past life and gain the power to see her own past births.

A queen of Sri Lanka who reigned for four months after poisoning her husband King Coranāga, then successively murdered a series of further husbands before being killed herself by Kuṭakaṇṇatissa.
