အနုရုဒ္ဓသုတ်ဟု အသိအမှတ်ပြုသော သုတ်ဖြစ်သည်။ အနုရုဒ္ဓသည် မဟာပုရိသ ဝိတက် ခုနစ်ချက်ကို ဆင်ခြင်နေစဉ် ဗုဒ္ဓ ရှေ့တော်၌ ပေါ်ထွန်းလာပြီး၊ ဓမ္မသည် အနည်းငယ်နှင့် ရောင့်ရဲသူအတွက်သာ ဖြစ်ကြောင်း၊ ဖွင့်ဟလိုသူအတွက် မဟုတ်ကြောင်း အဋ္ဌမမြောက်ချက်ကို ထပ်ဆင့်ပေးသည်၊ ထို့နောက် အနုရုဒ္ဓ အရဟတ္တဖိုလ် ရရှိခဲ့သည်။

A discourse identified with the Anuruddha Sutta, in which the Buddha appears before Anuruddha while he meditates on seven great thoughts and adds an eighth — that the Dhamma is for one content with little, not for one who delights in proliferation — after which Anuruddha attains Arahantship.
