අනුරුද්ධ සූත්‍රය ලෙස හඳුනාගන්නා දේශනාවකි; අනුරුද්ධ තෙරුන් මහාපුරුෂ විතක් හතක් භාවනා කරමින් සිටියදී බුදුන් වහන්සේ පෙනී සිට, ධර්මය ස්වල්පයෙන් සතුටු වන්නාට මිස ප්‍රපංචයේ ප්‍රීතිය විඳින්නාට නොවේ යැයි අටවන කරුණ එකතු කරති, ඉන්පසු අනුරුද්ධ රහත් ඵලයට පත් වේ.

A discourse identified with the Anuruddha Sutta, in which the Buddha appears before Anuruddha while he meditates on seven great thoughts and adds an eighth — that the Dhamma is for one content with little, not for one who delights in proliferation — after which Anuruddha attains Arahantship.
