වන ආරාමයේ රැකවරණය ලබා ගත් පලා ආ තරුණියක ආකර්ෂණයට ලක්ව ඇය සමඟ පලා යාමට තව ටිකකින් රැවටුණු බ්‍රාහ්මණ තාපසයෙකුගේ පුතෙකු ගැන කියන ජාතකයකි. ඒ වෙනුවට පියා ඔහුට ධ්‍යාන ලාභය කරා යන මාර්ගය උගන්වයි.
