Mahāgāma 的 Mahādhanadeva 之子，年輕時還俗、幾乎溺水、成婚、做苦力等經歷使他先後得了好幾個綽號，後因發現藏寶而致富，成為虔誠佈施並義務擺渡的居士。

A son of Mahādhanadeva of Mahāgāma who, after a colourful youth of disrobing, near-drowning, marriage, and manual labour that earned him a series of nicknames, discovered buried treasure and became a devout, wealthy alms-giver and free ferryman.
