Person小達摩波羅（Culla Dhammapāla）之師，據一說為《諦略論》（Saccasaṅkhepa）的作者，或與前條撰《根本復注》的學問僧為同一人。
Teacher of Culla Dhammapāla, author of the Saccasaṅkhepa. The Saddhamma Saṅghala (ix) says that Ānanda was the author of the Saccasaṅkhepa. See also above Ānanda (11).
