Aṭṭhana Jātaka
Jātaka本生故事,讲述女子不可信之理:一位青年商人每日以千金供养一名妓女,唯一一次空手而来便遭其驱逐,愤而出家为苦行者,用以譬喻一位因女色而欲还俗的比丘。
On the untrustworthiness and treacherousness of women. A young merchant, Mahādhana, patronised a courtesan, giving her a thousand pieces daily. One day, having no time to fetch the money, he went empty-handed and was cast out. Thereupon, in disgust, he became an ascetic (J.iii.474 ff).
The story is related to a monk who wished to leave the Order on account of a woman.
