Person붓다 아노마닷시의 두 상수제자 중 한 명으로, 고행자 사라다가 스스로 상수제자가 되기로 결심했을 때 그를 가르쳤다.
One of the two chief disciples of Anomadassī Buddha. J.i.36; BuA.145; DhA.i.88 ff. The Bu (viii.22) calls him Asoka.
He taught Sarada-tāpasa on the occasion when the latter made up his mind to become a chief disciple (aggasāvaka) himself.
