Taught at Sāvatthi in Jetavana in praise of Sāriputta’s learning and understanding.

It is really a description of the perfect disciple who has risen to mastery and perfection in noble virtue, noble concentration, noble perception and noble deliverance.

It contains psychological introspective analyses which are expanded in the Dhammasaṅgaṇi. M.iii.25 ff.
