The future chief disciple of the coming Buddha Metteyya, identified in the Mahāvaṃsa with King Duṭṭhagāmaṇī.

The chief disciple of the future Metteyya Buddha (Anāgatavaṃsa. v.97). According to the Mahāvaṃsa (xxxii.81) he should be identified with Duṭṭhagāmaṇī.
