A ford on the Mahāvālukagaṅgā in Sri Lanka (Cv.lxxii.27). Geiger refers to a legend which connects this with Kacchaka-tittha, in which case it should be near the Mahāgantota, east of Polonaruva. Cv.Trs.ii.321, n.5.
