Ayya-Uttiya (°ika)
Personカリヤーニーのティッサ王の弟で、王妃の恋人となり、発覚すると都から逃亡し、後に自分の名にちなんで名付けられた地区に住んだ。僧を装った男を通して王妃に手紙を送ったが、この策略も発覚した。
Brother of Tissa, king of Kalyāṇī. He was the queen’s lover and, being discovered, fled from the capital and lived in a district which was later named after him. He sent a letter to the queen by a man disguised as a monk, but the ruse was discovered (Mhv.xxii.13 ff; MT.307). For the rest of the story see Kalyāṇi-Tissa.
