Un village vajjien entre Vesāli et Hatthigāma, visité par le Bouddha lors de sa dernière tournée, où il enseigna aux moines les quatre qualités — vertu, concentration, sagesse et libération — menant au nibbāna

A Vajjian village between Vesāli and Hatthigāma and near the former.

The Buddha visited it during his last tour, and while there he talked to the monks on four conditions that lead to nibbāna:

righteousness,

earnest thought,

wisdom, and

freedom.
