PersonA monk, possibly the same as Bhadda who was ordained as a child, who stayed at the Kukkuṭārāma in Pāṭaliputta and discussed the righteous life and the foundations of mindfulness with Ānanda.
Perhaps to be identified with Bhadda (2). He is mentioned as staying at the Kukkuṭārāma in Pāṭaliputta in the company of Ānanda, with whom he discussed the righteous and the unrighteous life (S.v.15 f) and the cultivation of the four foundations of mindfulness (satipaṭṭhāna). S.v.171 f.
