A novice who, having burnt his tongue eating hot food and been warned by his teacher about lack of restraint, developed insight from the incident and attained Arahantship.

A novice who ate hot food and burnt his tongue. His teacher warned him against such lack of restraint, and the novice, developing insight on that topic, became an Arahant. Vism., p.45.
