Buddhappiya
Personचोल देश का एक निवासी, जिसने श्रीलंका में आनन्द वनरतन के अधीन अध्ययन किया, बालादिच्च विहार का प्रधान बना और रूपसिद्धि तथा पज्जमधु ग्रंथ लिखे; वह चोलिय दीपंकर के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।
He was a native of Coḷa, but studied in Sri Lanka under Ānanda vanaratana. He was the head of Bālādicca-vihāra and wrote two books, the Rūpasiddhi and the Pajjamadhu. He is also known as Coḷiya Dīpaṅkara. P.L.C.220 f; Svd.1239, 1260; SadS.65.
