Buddhasīha
PersonEin sri-lankischer Mönch und Schüler Buddhadattas, auf dessen Bitte hin Buddhadatta angeblich die Abhidhamma-Abhandlung Rūpārūpavibhāga verfasste, obwohl eine Überlieferung das Werk Buddhasīha selbst zuschreibt.
A monk of Sri Lanka, pupil of Buddhadatta (1).
It was at his request that Buddhadatta wrote the Rūpārūpavibhāga (an Abhidhamma treatise). (P.L.C.108).
According to one tradition (SadS.30) Buddhasīha himself was the author of the work, but the colophon to the book states otherwise.
