Buddhasīha
Personスリランカの僧でブッダダッタの弟子。彼の求めに応じてブッダダッタがアビダンマの論書『ルーパールーパヴィバーガ』を著したと伝えられるが、ある伝承ではこの著作をブッダシーハ自身の作としている。
A monk of Sri Lanka, pupil of Buddhadatta (1).
It was at his request that Buddhadatta wrote the Rūpārūpavibhāga (an Abhidhamma treatise). (P.L.C.108).
According to one tradition (SadS.30) Buddhasīha himself was the author of the work, but the colophon to the book states otherwise.
