Candanamālā

佛陀的住所之一,應輸那波蘭多的富樓那之請建於當地的檀香木建築,佛陀曾在此舉行開光儀式並顯現雙神變。
v.l. Candanasālā.– One of the residences occupied by the Buddha (SNA.ii.403). It was in Sunāparanta and was built of red sandalwood at the instigation of Puṇṇa of Sunāparanta. When the work was completed Puṇṇa sent a flower as message to the Buddha, who came with five hundred monks and performed the ceremony of dedication before dawn (ThagA.i.158). During the festival, the Buddha showed the Twin Miracle (yamaka-pāṭihāriya) (ThagA.i.312).
