The daughter of King Brahmadatta of Bārāṇasī, offered in marriage to the ascetic Lomasa-Kassapa in exchange for a sacrifice of animals he ultimately refused to perform.

Daughter of Brahmadatta, king of Bārāṇasī. The king offered her to Lomasa-kassapa on condition that he should perform a sacrifice of beasts. Kassapa agreed but later withdrew his consent. See the Lomasa-Kassapa Jātaka. J.iii.515 ff; Mil.220.
