Candikāputta
Person데바닷타의 가르침에 대해 비구들에게 설법하여 실라유파 경으로 기록된 장로로, 그 이름은 어머니 찬디카에서 유래했다.
A discourse on the teaching of Devadatta, delivered by Candikāputta to the monks, is recorded in the Silāyūpa Sutta (A.iv.402 f ) (q.v.)
The Commentary (AA.ii.808) says that his mother’s name was Candikā, hence his own.
