Dīghanikāya
Text경장의 첫 번째 책으로, 세 장으로 편성된 서른네 편의 장편 경전으로 이루어져 있으며, 붓다고사가 이에 대한 주석서 수망갈라윌라시니를 저술하였다.
Also called the Dīghāgama or Dīghasaṅgaha.
It forms the first book of the Sutta Piṭaka and consists of thirty-four long suttas, divided into three chapters (vagga):
Sīlakkhandha,
Mahā Vagga and
Pāṭikavagga (Pāṭheya).
Buddhaghosa wrote a commentary on the work called the Sumaṅgalavilāsinī.
