The Bodhisatta as a deity born in the sense-sphere heavens, whose story is told in the Dhammadevaputta Jātaka, though the Milindapañha calls him a yakkha.

The Bodhisatta, born as a devaputta in the Kāmāvacara-world. See the Dhammadevaputta Jātaka. In the Milindapañha (p.212) he is called a yakkha.
