Dussapāvārika

Un millionnaire de Nālandā qui, après être devenu disciple du Bouddha, fit don de son bois de manguiers pour bâtir un monastère qui prit le nom de Pāvārikambavana.

A millionaire (seṭṭhi) of Nāḷandā who owned a mango-grove near the city. Having heard the Buddha teach, he became his follower and built for him and his Order a monastery in his mango-grove, which came to be called Pāvārikambavana. DA.iii.873; MA.iii.52; SA.iii.208.
