Dīghanikāya

Cuốn sách đầu tiên của Kinh Tạng, gồm ba mươi tư bài kinh dài được sắp xếp thành ba phẩm, mà Buddhaghosa đã viết bộ chú giải Sumaṅgalavilāsinī.

Also called the Dīghāgama or Dīghasaṅgaha.

It forms the first book of the Sutta Piṭaka and consists of thirty-four long suttas, divided into three chapters (vagga):

Sīlakkhandha,

Mahā Vagga and

Pāṭikavagga (Pāṭheya).

Buddhaghosa wrote a commentary on the work called the Sumaṅgalavilāsinī.
