Ekanāḷa
Person라자가하 남쪽 닥키나기리 인근의 바라문 마을로, 부처님이 포교 십일 년째에 농부 까시 바라드와자를 그의 이름이 붙은 경을 설하여 교화하신 곳
A brahmin village near Dakkhiṇagiri, to the south of Rājagaha. Once, during the eleventh year of his ministry, the Buddha visited the village and taught Kāsī-Bhāradvāja the sutta that bears his name and which converted him to the faith (Sn.pp.12 ff; SnA.i.136; S.i.172 ff).
Near to the village was the Dakkhiṇagiri-vihāra. SA.i.188.
