Gandhavaṃsa
Text버마의 숲에 거주하던 장로 난다판냐가 저술한 후기 팔리어 작품으로, 버마와 스리랑카의 팔리 삼장과 그 이후 문헌의 역사를 간략히 서술한다.
A late Pāḷi work written in Burma.
It relates, in brief, the history of the Pāḷi Canon and gives accounts of post-canonical Pāḷi books written in Burma and Sri Lanka.
The colophon states that the work was composed by a forest-dwelling elder named Nandapañña. At the end of each chapter the work is referred to as Cullagandhavaṃsa; perhaps what we have now is an abridged edition of a larger work.
The work is published in J.P.T.S., 1886, pp.55-80.
