Govinda
Personディサンパティ王の家令すなわち財務官で、その息子ジョーティパーラが後を継いでマハーゴーヴィンダとして知られるようになった。「ゴーヴィンダ」は個人名というより称号であったようだ。
The steward or treasurer of King Disampati.
He had a son, Jotipāla, who succeeded him after his death and came to be known as Mahāgovinda (D.ii.230 f; Mtu.iii.204).
“Govinda” was evidently a title and not a name.
