Person위빳시가 태어날 때 점술가들이 그 아이가 부처가 될 것이라 예언하는 것을 듣고 축하하며 재스민 꽃을 바친 아라한. 아마도 사미티굿타 장로와 동일 인물로 추정된다
An Arahant. On the day of Vipassī Buddha’s birth many miracles occurred, and soothsayers predicted that he would be a Buddha. Jātipūjaka, hearing this, offered him jasmine flowers. Three world-cycles ago he became king thirty-four times under the name of Supāricariya (Ap.i.154).
He is probably identical with Samitigutta. ThagA.i.176.
