A village near Cālikā, close to the Kimikālā river, where the monk Meghiya once went for alms while attending the Buddha.

Meghiya, while staying with the Buddha at Cālikā, once went to Jantugāma for alms (A.iv.354; Ud.iv.1).
The Aṅguttara Commentary (AA.i.163) says the village was in Pācīnavaṃsadāya. UdA.217.
