A prince of Jambudīpa who, during the reign of Parakkamabāhu I of Sri Lanka, sent costly gifts to the king of Rāmañña; the Rāmañña king forbade the envoys to land and insulted them. This is mentioned as one of the acts which led Parakkamabāhu to send an expedition against Rāmañña. Cv.lxxvi.28 f.
