බුරුමයේ ටවුංගු නගරයේ පාළි නාමයයි, වරෙක ප්‍රසිද්ධ අලියෙකු සතු වූ රජෙකුගේ අගනුවර වූ අතර, ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ භික්ෂුවක් විසින් බුද්ධාගම එහි ස්ථාපිත කරන ලද අතර පසුව ප්‍රසිද්ධ භික්ෂූන්ගේ නිවහන බවට පත් විය.

Ketumatī is in Jeyyavaḍḍhanaraṭṭha. It was once the capital of King Mahāsirijeyyasūra who possessed a famous elephant, called Devanāga. Buddhism was established in Ketumatī by a monk from Sri Lanka named Mahāparakkama. It later became the residence of famous monks. Sās., pp.80, 81; see also 101, 118, 162.
