Khanda
Personヴィパッシー仏の上首弟子であり、仏陀の異母兄弟であった。仏陀はケーマの鹿野苑で、彼と友人ティッサに最初の説法を行った。
The chief disciple of Vipassī Buddha (D.ii.11, 40; Bu.xx.28; J.i.41), whose step-brother he was. The Buddha taught his first discourse to Khanda and his friend Tissa, the chaplain’s son, in the Deer Park at Khema. Later, Khanda became the Buddha’s chief disciple Ekasaññaka (BuA.196; AA.i.80; DA.ii.416; see also 457), in a previous birth, once gave alms to Khanda. Ap.i.121.
