Kuñcanāga

A king of Sri Lanka, son of Kaniṭṭha-Tissa, who killed his elder brother Khujjanāga to take the throne, maintained his charitable works through the Ekanālika famine, and was later deposed by Sirināga.
Son of Kaniṭṭha-Tissa and king of Sri Lanka (246-8 A.C.) He slew his elder brother Khujjanāga.
During his reign occurred the Ekanālika famine, but the king maintained his benefactions uninterrupted.
He was deposed by Sirināga. Mhv.xxxvi.19 ff; Dpv.xxii.33.
