Placeගාමණි වැව අසල පණ්ඩුකාභය රජු විසින් කුම්භණ්ඩ නම් නිගණ්ඨ තපස්වියෙකු වෙනුවෙන් ඉදිකරන ලද, ඔහුගේ නමින්ම නම් කරන ලද ආරාමයකි.
