Kāḷakhemaka
Place피부가 검어서 칼라케마카라 불린 케마카라는 이름의 사캬족으로, 카필라밧투 근처에 승원을 지었으며 그곳에서 부처님이 마하순냐타 경을 설하셨다.
A Sakyan. His name was Khemaka, but as he was dark he was called Kāḷakhemaka. He built a monastery in Nigrodhārāma, near Kapilavatthu, and once, during robe-making time, many monks lived there. On this occasion the Buddha taught the Mahāsuññatā Sutta. M.iii.109; MA.ii.906.
