Kāḷakhemaka
Place一位释迦族人,本名 Khemaka,因肤色黝黑而被称为 Kāḷakhemaka,他在迦毗罗卫附近建造的寺院是佛陀讲说《大空经》之处。
A Sakyan. His name was Khemaka, but as he was dark he was called Kāḷakhemaka. He built a monastery in Nigrodhārāma, near Kapilavatthu, and once, during robe-making time, many monks lived there. On this occasion the Buddha taught the Mahāsuññatā Sutta. M.iii.109; MA.ii.906.
