Person佛陀出生時辨識出吉祥相好的八位婆羅門之一，據《彌蘭陀王問經》記載，也曾是佛陀最早的老師之一。
One of the eight brahmins who recognised the auspicious signs at the birth of the Buddha (J.i.56). The Milindapañha (Mil. 236) speaks of him as one of the Buddha’s first teachers.
