Person히말라야 호수에 사는 나가(Nāga) 왕이었을 때, 하늘을 날아가는 파두뭇타라 붓다(Padumuttara)에게 자신이 가진 유일한 보석을 바친 아라한.
An Arahant. He was once a Nāga king in a lake in Himavā, and, having seen Padumuttara Buddha travelling through the air, he offered him the jewel which he wore round his throat, that being the only thing he had (Ap.ii.413 f). He is probably identical with Mātaṅgaputta Thera. ThagA.i.349.
