Ein König von Bārāṇasī und Vater des Bodhisatta in der Cūḷadhammapāla-Jātaka, identifiziert mit Devadatta, der von der Erde verschlungen wurde.

King of Bārāṇasī, father of the Bodhisatta in the Cūḷadhammapāla Jātaka (q.v.) He is identified with Devadatta. He was swallowed up by the earth. J.iii.182. DhA.i.129.
