Place第三結集の後にマハーダンマラッキタ長老が赴いた国で、一般にゴーダーヴァリー川の水源付近のマラーティー人の地域と同定される。
A country where Mahādhammarakkhita went after the Third Council. It is generally identified with the country of the Marāthī at the source of the Godhāvarī. Mhv.xii.5, 37; Dpv.viii.8; Sp.i.64,67.
